Following Jesus isn't about becoming a perfect person. It's about beginning a relationship with the One who knows you, loves you, and invites you into a new life.

Whether you're exploring faith, returning to church after a long time away, or you've just made the decision to follow Jesus, we're excited you're here. No matter where you've been or what your story looks like, Jesus invites you to come to Him.

What does it mean to Follow Jesus?

“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” - Romans 10:9-10
The Bible teaches that every person has sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard. Sin separates us from God, but God didn't leave us there. Because of His great love, Jesus came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again so that we could be forgiven and have eternal life with Him.

Following Jesus means trusting Him as your Savior, turning toward Him, and beginning a lifelong relationship with Him.

Read the Bible

“All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
The Bible helps us know God's character, understand His promises, and learn how to follow Him.
If you're just getting started, we recommend reading the Gospel of John. Choose a translation that's easy to understand, such as the NLT, NIV, or ESV, and spend a few minutes reading each day.

Pray

“This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’” - Matthew 6:9-13
Prayer is simply talking with God.
You don't need special words or a perfect prayer.
Thank Him, ask questions, share what's on your heart, and listen for His guidance as you grow in your relationship with Him.

Get Baptized

“Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”  
- Acts 2:38
If you've decided to follow Jesus, baptism is your next step. It doesn't save you, but it is a public declaration that your life has been changed by Him. Jesus was baptized, and He calls His followers to do the same. If you're ready to take this step, we'd love to celebrate with you and walk you through the process.
